13 Keep your servant also from willful sins;
may they not rule over me.
Then will I be blameless,
innocent of great transgression.
14 May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
What is gives life a true and complete satisfaction? i think i know of a way to have a satisfied life. A happy life, a free life and a steady life.
God make us in such a way that when ever we pleased Him we are truly satisfied. Question is are you living your life with one single focus to please Him? I remember i learn this lesson as a secondary 3 student. Leading the coral outreach was tough for me as a young believer. people were unhappy with me at times, there are expectations laid on me. (the kind that don't please God) and i felt so pressure to please men instead of God. i tried to please men but at the end of the day, i know God is unhappy with me. I have obey men and not God. i have seek for men's approval and not God's approval. One morning while on the way to school, God spoke to me about pleasing Him alone. Only His approval is satisfying. It totally changed my world!
Friends imagine you start your day knowing that God is please with you. Ending your day knowing that God is please with you. Throughout the day God is please with you. the whole world may hate you, you life may seem to be in a bad shape to others. you may not be the smartest person, the most popular person, the one who have the most attention from people but you know GOD IS PLEASE WITH YOU!
vice versa, you may be popular, perceived as a cool person, smart, people loves you, approval of you (because you conform to their expectations instead of God) with this, you wake up knowing God is not please with you, you enter into sleep knowing God is not please with you. Throughout your day, God is not please with you.
which do you want? i tell you what i want. All i want is to please Him. to know everything i do, everything i said, everything i think of, everything i like or love will be pleasing to Him. i have a single plan for life. the most satisfaction: PLEASE HIM!
this is living for God. the world may be against you, but God is please with you. its not just good. its the best!
